Welcome to CHAS-GUNI, a one of its kind institute to provide quality education in the field of Food Technology. Food, being the major essential for all living beings, stands out in our basic needs. Food technology, although a new branch in limelight, focuses mainly on saving food rather than producing. At CHAS-GUNI, it is our visionary mandate to give knowledge regarding the exploration of the possibilities of preserving, processing, and value-adding of food to bring it safe from Farm to Fork. Here, we aspire for excellence in education and research to meet the shortfall of skilled manpower in the food processing sector. It shall be our endeavor to provide the most modern education in a natural and peaceful environment by making the young generation competent towards a global and challenging work environment. The food processing plant at the GUNI campus is an excellent state-of-art model to enhance the practical knowledge of the students and develop them into prominent citizens of our country by developing technical knowledge, responsibility, and entrepreneurship. It will also enable them to build up managerial ability to achieve success in this vibrant sector.
