Description
Workshop on “Design Thinking and Innovation” was organized by Ganpat University -
Centre for Health and Applied Sciences (CHAS) on 31st January, 2023. Total 52 participants
were registered and participated successfully in the workshop. In the inauguration function
Dr. S. S. Pancholi, Executive dean, FOS and FOP of the college welcomed and introduced
the guests. Dr. Paresh. U. Patel, Chairperson of the workshop explained the overview of the
workshop. Dr. Ganpat I. Patel, patron-in-chief & President, Ganpat University was present as
chief guest of the inaugural function and motivated all the participants and extended his
blessing for the success of the workshop. Dr. Saurabh Dave, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Executive
Dean-Student Start-up, Ganpat University acquainted the participants with the role of
incubation centre, SSIP G20 vision and mission of India, Government of Gujarat. Dr. Amit
Paraikh, Dean, FSO, Ganpat University gave the overview of G20 summit 2023 mission,
vision and role of universities of India and how students can beniffited and participated under
G20 event from January to November 2023. Dr. Ravindra Agarwal, Assistant professor,
CHAS, delivered a vote of thanks.
After the inaugural function Ar. Sandeep Singh R. Sisodia, Associate Executive Dean
Faculty of Architecture, delivered an expert talk on "Design Thinking: From Autopilot to
Conscious Decision-Making" After that Mr. Vimal Paradava, Manger, Ganpat University
Incubation Centre conducted a session on 21st Century Skills. In this valedictory ceremony,
Dr.Paresh U. Patel, Chairperson, CHAS, Ganpat University congratulates all the participants.
Certificates were awarded to all successful workshop participants. The workshop ended with
the feedback from participants and group photographs. Very good responses received from
the participants.
