Ganpat University organized an event on “The Mother Nectar: Nourishing Bond Through Breast Feeding ” as a part of the Breastfeeding week from August 1st to August 8th 2024 from 10.00-11.00 AM. The Students of Ganpat University took part in the event and gathered at CHAS, Ganpat University. The event was organized by the Food and Nutrition Department with coordination of M.Sc. students of food and nutrition. Ami patel welcomed all students and gave a brief detail on the event. Our experts delivered knowledge regarding breastfeeding and its benefits. Students also emphasized a low-budget balanced diet, and how Students can counseling lactating mothers with balanced diet during lactation period. Students also get to know about why specific diets and nutrients which are rich in carbohydrates, protein and vitamins and minerals are necessary . We have discussed all aspects of some myths and facts about balanced diets . After the awareness session, we conducted a quiz session and students showed their healthy participation.
The coordinators overseeing the initiative commended the students for their dedicated efforts, expressing their heartfelt gratitude. We were thankful that students enjoyed the event with healthy participation. This event will be helpful for students in the future.
